Microsoft Xbox FPS Boost feature is available in 33 Xbox Cloud Games!

The Xbox FPS Boost feature is now available in 33 Xbox Cloud Gaming games from Microsoft.

The Xbox FPS Boost mode is coming to the cloud, according to Microsoft. FPS Boost is now available in 33 Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) games, as part of a larger push for Xbox backward compatibility that includes 76 new game additions for modern Xbox consoles. Xbox Cloud Gaming titles like Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and The Evil Within 2 will have FPS Boost enabled.

The Xbox FPS Boost feature, which improves the performance of existing games, was previously only available on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. Because the service is now fully powered by custom Xbox Series X hardware, it’s being extended to Xbox Cloud Gaming.

While Microsoft has improved frame rates in some backward-compatible games, the FPS Boost feature allows developers to improve older games without having to make any changes. The 33 games that have been added today were previously enhanced for Xbox Series X and S consoles.

On Xbox Series X / S consoles, Microsoft is also adding 76 new Xbox games to the backward compatibility library today, as well as enabling FPS Boost on 37 new games.
